Ria Goyal is a Human Centered Designer studying at the University of Washington, Seattle. Her time immersed in different environments and cultures– living in Dallas, Singapore, and Seattle– sensitized her to diverse human behaviors, needs, and societal dynamics.
Her professional focus is on creating thoughtful, user-centric solutions that merge functionality with beauty. With a growing interest in designing physical goods, she hopes to expand her expertise into creating sustainable, tangible products that enhance everyday life. By blending her background in user-centered design and design thinking, she seeks to innovate in ways that balance practicality, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility.

Outside of her work, she finds joy in music, fine art, and the outdoors. A dedicated artist, she loves drawing and photography, and she brings the same curiosity to her design as she does to exploring the world. Whether it’s hiking a new trail or discovering a hidden gem abroad, she’s always looking for inspiration and adventure in life’s moments, big or small.
